ACCOUNTING
BRIDGE
FOS to
QUICKBOOKS,
FOS to anything…
The accounting
bridge allows you to move your invoice billing (revenue) data
and expense related data directly from FOS to most back end
accounting applications. Use our 'bridge' utility to import,
summarize, review, stage your invoicing and expense related data
and generate the properly formed export file to be picked up by
your accounting application.
How it works
Working with
your FOS (properly configured to process invoices) and your
QuickBooks our bridge program allows you to map your FOS cost &
expense revenue items to their corresponding QuickBooks Chart
Of Accounts accounts and items. Using
standard FOS processes and the native FOS Accounting interface
file, your FOS invoice data is imported into the bridge where it
is presented to the user for review. A "pre-export" audit is run
to verify completeness of the imported FOS data - valid customer
number, valid g/l mapping codes, transactions "in-balance", etc.
All invoice related transactions deemed "in error"
are color coded to alert the user,
and can not be exported. Once reviewed, the invoice transactions
selected by the user (those not "in error") are sent to the IIF
(QuickBooks format) or CSV (Peachtree format)
file in your shared folder where they will be imported
into the backend accounting system.
Benefits
Single point-of-entry - greatly reduce double entry and all the
associated risks with data entry;
Reduce to minutes the time it takes to update your accounting
back end with invoice data.
